TKs Mix & Mash Info & Track Listing

Funky Sensation Funky Sensation Mix

There's a lot to like here, mostly remixes as opposed to boots.
First - there's representation from five decades, The Sixties: Jefferson Airplane; Santana, The Seventies: James Brown; The Ohio Players; Lipps Inc; Doobies; Gary Numan; MJ, The Eighties: Men W/out Hats; Gwen McCrae; Prince; Newcleus; Patrice Rushen; Melba Moore; Miami Sound Machine; Joan Jett; The Police; Miss Jane; Yello; InDeep; MC Shy D, The Nineties: 1998 Medley as noted; Fatboy Slim; Rednex; and straight intothe new millennium: Kelis; Madonna; Gorillaz; including the remix producers and mashers.
Second and ipso facto pursuant to the First, there is obviously something for a variety of taste buds that…Third - mixes surprisingly well together; and Fourth and finally the transitions are as tight and as well produced (if I do say so myself…and  I do) as can possibly be done, with a carefully calculated, slow, easy tempo climb that makes the set eminently listenable.
Big ups as usual to Masters At Work & Fatboy Slim for the cutting edge they always apply to the pop…additional props to the production perspectives provided by David Morales of DefMix Productions, Gary Gee of Mastermix, Stanton Warriors, DJ Double D, MTV and the crews at Select Mix/Hot Tracks & Ultimix. [One final note – that 1998 medley was not put together by me. I just mixed in and out of it. I don’t know who did it or even where I found it but I think it’s great. So, to whomever you might be – great job and thanks.]
Enjoy.
